Where can I buy a new X5 advanced?

I'm looking for an X5 advanced ( the 400MHz ).
New ( not used or second hand ),
And prefered with WM 2003.

Can you please recommend good places in the USA to purchase it other then DELL's website ?

Well there are no other places besides Dell. Look at ebay though, do a search for "sealed Dell Axim X5" or "brand new Dell Axim X5".

Dell doesn't sell them anywhere else. Nobody else sells them new.

So, the two choices are Dell and Dell.

Why don't you want to buy it from Dell? One of the reasons Dell's products are such a good value is because they only sell direct. I like the idea of cutting out the middle man, or in many cases the middle men.

Was just looking for a better price then $299...

If thats the case then I guess I'll have to wait for the next sale

I don't think Dell will be having anymore sales on the X5...but right now they seem to be taking off 15%, so the final price is $254. ;)

I got a remanufactured model (400MHz) last october and haven't had any problems with it so far....
I'm running PPC2002 and see no reason to upgrade, everything works as well as it could.

Buying remanufactured knocks about $50 off the price, and it comes with a 90 day guarantee as well.
good as new, without the problems of 1st release edition of PPC2003

Are you sure it for home use or maybe its something from the small business section ?

I manage to find that $254 offer but whenever I click on it there is no "ADD TO CART" button and instead there is only a " CUSTOMIZE IT" button.

When I push it the price jump up to $299 again and only then I have the "ADD TO CART" button...

Whats the deal here ?
