I don't think this has been discussed, at east a search for power button didn't provide me with the answer I was looking for. The Axim is sitting in it's craddle, fully charged and the power button is flashing green. Now according to the documentation that came with the book, it states that a notification has been received by the device. umm, what notification there is nothing in the notification area on the start bar. Am I missing something?

I too have this thing going on. I tried figuring out but couldn't. Now I have learnt to live with it.

Could be that I am working on fixing my own problem, but what is your notification setting set to?

Start\Settings\Sounds & Notifications\Notifications

I have Display Message on Screen ticked and the Flash light for blah blah was also ticked. I have since turned un-ticked the Flash light for blah blah.

I have also noticed this flashing light & it's slowly driving me crazy . Nothing I've tried so far will stop the flashing light. I would also like a solution to this. I tried the
Start\Settings\Sounds & Notifications\Notifications & that didn't fix it for me.

Thanks, Snicker

Did you scroll through all of the events to see if any were set to flash? By default "Reminders" (the last one) is set to flash. You have to select an event in "1." and then check the settings under "2."

On the Notifications tab on Sounds & Notifications at the top it says "Select and Event" Just tap the drop down arrow and there are 7 different events listed and each one has different settings for the "sound played", "display message on screen", "and flash light for". I'll bet one of those events is still checked "flash light for"

Its a reminder for an upcoming calender event. When the Axim is off its the only way for it to get your attention. I've seen this quite a few times now and dismissing the reminder cleared it every time.

Thanks, I was looking at all my appointments in my calender. I don't remember playing around in there, but that fixed it.
