Last but not least, how do I configure my settings to connect to the internet. My cell phone contract is up at the end of the month. Should I look for something to help me out in the department as well? As you can see, I am really puzzled and need directions. Is it possible to use the Axim wirelessly like a cell phone. Please help me, I am completely lost. Thanks in advance. Axim Newbie.:exc:

When you added the DSL, did you install or activate a firewall? Some firewall software interferes with the activesync use of communications to sync. Try deactivating the firewall to see if that lets you sync, then adjust the firewall settings to provide some security but still let activesync do its thing.
A wireless LAN card is similar to an ethernet card in that both are used to connect a computer to a network. Wireless connects to what is known as an access point (AP or WAP), while ethernet just connects to an ethernet cable.
To connect the Ax to the internet, open the desktop Activesync, Options, Rules and check the box under "Pass Through" and make sure the drop down box has "The Internet" showing.
I can't help on the cell phone, but I don't think I would count on wireless connections to replace a cell phone.
