Cheap Screen Protectors! 10 for 5 bux!

I came across this new company who is selling screen protectors for the Dell Axim for only 50 cents each, and you can buy any quantity! I ordered two from the company about a week ago and they are great! They are super clear and are very smooth. They don't stick to the screen either, which can mess ur screen up. They just started and they don't have a lot of money, so they made a free website selling them. The site is www.geocities.com/triplemsp There e-mail is triplemsp@yahoo.com

Hmm

Wow -- and from their one-page free website with no company info other than a Yahoo email address, no pictures of the product, and that five-line spiel, I'll bet they're a reputable company with a great product.

It's really cool how you came across "Triple M's" Geocities website barely a day after they founded the company (with which I'm sure that you, of course, have no relationship). That's a really marvellous bit of Web searching!

I'm really interested in ordering some of those "Triple M" screen protectors for myself. Having used their fine product for about a week so far, can you give us some estimate of their durability as compared to... oh, say, homemade protectors cut from free 3M transparency samples?

-Bill

The person who created the website is my good freind who is having financial problems. He spends hours a day cutting, cleaning, and packaging screen protectors, and has invested the little money he had left in the project. He said that when he gets enough money he will register a domain, but for now, all he can afford is that geocities site. I don't know what he uses or how he does it, I just know that they do work good, which is why I have been and will use his screen protectors. He has been taking some online HTML courses and is setting up a new website, which should be up within a few hours he said. I'm not forcing anyone to purchase from him, but hey, a couple of bucks from you is a treasure chest from him.

The problem is that is doesn't look professional. Nowadays you can host a great website for less than $5 a month. I would assume he can afford that. Even registering a domain can be found for less than $10 a year, and that is for a one year registration. If you or he want some help with this, email me and I would be glad to give him the information I know of.

Good Luck to him.

Thanks for offering your help, what is your e-mail address? I just haven't been able to find any domains lower than 35 dollars a year plus huge setup fees....(his new website is more professional than before btw)

I would NEVER give any type of currency
to a company with a web site as bad as that.

Not even a picture....

Plus, I already use writeSHIELDS. I've tried too many products
out there and NOTHING compares.

As stated above every business starts somewhere. Here is a suggestion. Dark red on black is not a good idea. Thats like: lite Yellow on a white background.

Oh and make sure you change the titles (<title> Insert Title Here </title>) on the other pages so they dont show up as "Untitled Document"

I've been using super clear laser Transparency Film. Cut it to length an approx 4mm wider than screen to be able to tuck a couple mm's under case on each. These are really cheap. (1/2 dozen sheets donated from work) will make 80 or so protectors. For a FREE sample from 3M click here, http://www.3m.com/meetings/product_catalog/trans.jhtml, order for laser printer for smooth, clear film.
Good Luck.

Mike

That 3M link just says that they changed their webpage. Do you have a click path to the free sample?

Hmm Oh, Give Me a Freakin' Break..

So you made up the following: "I came across this new company who is selling screen protectors for the Dell Axim for only 50 cents each, and you can buy any quantity!"

You blew your credibility. It's doubtful that you even have a friend in the sob-story scenario you're portraying. It's more likely that your "friend" found the Axim screen protector template that's been posted, and bought a box of transparency film at "his" local Staples store. Only a sucker would waste even $0.50 based on your say-so.
