Hmm Rebates
I sent my rebate in on 12/28/02, logged on to the DELL site tonight after reading this, and they claim that they never received my rebate . Go figure. The past couple of years I have been dubious of rebates because many companies don't mail you the check. S o I take the rebate thing with a grain of salt. But I expected Dell to be above the rst.

jwhite770, call Dell and talk to a CSR about the rebate. They have outsourced the processing to a third party, and that third party is not really efficient, from all reports. Folks who have called Dell about missing/denied rebates are getting good results.

jwhite770, I had the same problem when I bought 2 axim's and they only gave me a rebate on one of them. I called Dell CSR, and they gave me a credit on my account with them. Check with them and see if they will do the same for you.

Well I just checked the site and they have my rebate pending. I feel like I have won half the battle already. We'll see if I am ever $50 richer.

Mine FINALLY came in (popped it in the mail at the end of November!) just two days ago (over 2 months after submission) so be patient, everyone! It will come, and if you don't see anything on rebatestatus.com, CALL DELL!

Received my Axim first week of January (ordered on 12/27/02) and sent the rebate form in a few days later (approx Jan 10). Just received rebate check in mail yesterday - right at 8 weeks.

I noticed on my cheque, which I got 7 weeks after sending in the paperwork that I had until May 25th to cash it. I figured I better not wait that long and have done so.

Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with the cash....dell sync stand, or 256 meg CF card???
