USB mass Storage driver for P PC 2002, how can this work for the axim?

driver link here

I've been looking around on how to hook up an external hd to an axim. Is this even possible for the axim? Seems like others have had success with other brands. toshiba usb host adaptor
Toshiba even makes a cable for theres. A 3400mAh dell battery would prob be a must but thats okay, money saved would be justified. I do know of the Cf usb host card that is going to be coming out soon but there has to be a more cost effective solution.

A list of links I've found in the past hour on my quest:

Don't know about the USB driver you mention, but I seem to remember seeing lots of posts on other boards about a "storage brick" and associated drivers which could be used for various external storage drives.

storage brick link

If there is a cable like this toshiba cable, then we could hook up various external keyboards, webcameras, etc. Better then buying dell's fold out keyboard.
