Syncing Avantgo Channels

I installed Avantgo, setup an account, and selected channels but they are not syncing correctly through activesync. I have tried syncing the channels multiple times through active sync. I selected avantgo from the options menu in avtivesync, and everytime I sync it says there is one item for avantgo, then syncs automatically so I cannot click it and see what it is.

I figured out one way to get mmy channels but it is a pain in the butt. I click start/settings/connections/avantgo connect, then under there there is an option to sync all and it tells me a server. I click sync all and I get my channels. Shouldn't this happen automatically through activesync whenever I sync? From what I've read channels are supposed to update when I sync, I should not have to do it through the connections area on my AX.

**EDIT**
I think I know why activesync is not getting the channels. There is no server setup when I click the setting for the avantgo option in A/S. Everything is blank and it won't let me input or save any server info and it tells me there are no device profiles available, therefore I can't edit any info since it doesn't see any device. Does anyone how to setup up or get a device profile so that I can get my avantgo channels to sync through activesync??
