Hopefully someone has run across this problem in the past and can help me out here...
My PC is set for Central Time (GMT - 6:00) and is set to the correct date and time. My Axim is similarly set to Central Time (GMT - 6:00) and is set to the correct date and time as well.
Everytime I sync my Axim, it sets my Axim's clock back 1 hour (to basically GMT -7:00 / Mountain Time).
When I check, I don't see anything that is obviously set "wrong", and I've tried to ensure that the regional settings are correct on both the Axim and my PC.
Any ideas?

My PC is set for "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving changes". As DST is currently in effect here (AL), the time on my PC is correct.
After setting the correct time and syncing, my Axim reverts to (what would be) "sun time" - i.e., the correct time after going OFF Daylight Saving Time.
My Axim will finally have the correct time around the last Sunday in October when DST ends this year!
WEiRd... :rolling:
I'm going to try unchecking that DST box on my PC and syncing again to see if there is still a 1 hour difference...

This may sound stupid but is the date and year OK? Also have you tried to change the date on the Axim to -5:00? Does both clocks show regular time not 24Hr clock?

Here Is Something You Might Want To Check...if You Go Into The Clock Function..you Can Set Your Home Time And A Visiting Time...exp:my Home Time Is Set For Eastern And My Visiting Time Is Set For Central...whichever One Is Checked Is The Time My Pda Shows...

Date and year are ok... not set to 24 hour...
I'm going to try setting it to -5:00 and the correct time, then syncing...
I don't believe this... I set it to midnight, GMT -5:00, then tried to sync. Now my PC is showing 12:00AM and my Axim JUMPED an hour (as it should) to 1:00AM! I CAN'T WIN!!!
:::EDIT:::
I *may* be onto something... I changed the time DURING a sync, and so far it's holding... :approve:

In general... when you sync a PDA... does it sync the time with the pc? Is there a utility to do that? Because I sync my PC with to time.nist.gov's time. I want to know how I can sync my PDA to that too.

Based on *my* experiences, the Axim syncs to your PC's clock.
If your PC is set to adjust its clock by contacting an atomic clock, then when you sync, the Axim will sync to that time too (since that time is also your computer's time now).
The Axim won't sync to the atomic clock, but will sync to your PC which is synced to the atomic clock.
Clear as mud?
