Can anyone tell why I can't view my Avantgo Channels[[[[]]]]

Can anyone tell me why ,I've created an account and when I sync Idont the channels I've selected. Why?

Did you configure your device after you installed the software?? After installing your browser should have automatically opend with how to continue and configure. I have the link that you will need to use inorder toconfigure if you haven't. Just click the box that says already have an account. Click configure after that. A box should popup asking to open or save to disk. I chose open using avantgo and then just followed the instructions. Here is the link https://my.avantgo.com/home/installer.html?referer=

Here is my input and my situation. I did configure and still have a problem syncing channels. The only way I get my channels to sync is to go (On the Axim) into start/settings/connections then click on avantgo connect. Here it shows the server I will connect to. There is also a button there that says "sync all". I click it and it updates my channels. Then I go into pocket IE (avantgo is my homepage) and my updated channels are there. You can check in the activesync options and make sure that avantgo has a check mark next to it, if it isn't checked that may be your problem.

The reason why my channels do not sync when I do activesync is because on my laptop there is no device profile in the avantgo connect settings. (You can get to these settings by going into the control panel of your computer and clicking the avantgo connect icon.) For my settings it shows everything is grayed out and unclickable which means I cannot add a server. If I could get a device profile /server settings into the avantgo connect settings then my channels would update when I did activesync. All I need to figure out is how to get my device profile in the settings. I sent an email to avantgo about my problem but I have not heard back yet.

Try the option setting that I mentioned above in activesync first. Then check the avantgo connect settings on your computer and see if you have a device profile and server settings. Hope this helps!

Thanks much phcsbimmer, Am now able to view acanto channels on my pda ; all I did was to tap on sync all on my pda. It it works beautifully, probably you could tell me how to change the skins of media player on the axim. I've seen some skins on microsoft's website,but when I downloaded them ,they don't work -Why?

Lets see if you can really build an axim...

avantgo is wicked, just wish the free account had more than 2megs. However, it makes my travels to/from work much better now that I can read the news. I'm so up to date now with world issues :)

problems

I can view all of the regular Syncable channels, but I cannot seem to view ANY of the Wireless Channels. I have already activated the service and all, but when I go to the link for Yahoo! Mail and all of the other Wireless Channels I get an error page. Does anyone else have this problem? TAKE NOTE: I am not talking about the MAIN channels that you change by syncing, I am talking about the so-called purely wireless channels such as:
CNN, Expedia To Go, MapBlast! Wireless, The Weather Channel - Wireless, TheDeal.com, and Yahoo! Mail. Please advise if you got these to work properly.
