Just Got my AXIM 400

Greetings All,
I just received my Axim yesterday, ordered it last Friday night late and it arrived Wednesday afternoon. Great service from DELL. I've purchased two desktop computers and this handheld from DELL over the past five years and never a problem.
Being new to the PPC arena, I would appreciate any advice from you more experienced users as to what I should do first thing in setup or programs to add.
I still have not figured out how to sync and transfer my Word and Excel files to the Axim. So if you can help me out there that would be great also.
I've been reading some of the threads over the past few days and love this Forum.
Peace and God's Blessings to all...

Transferring any file is easy; just open activesync, hit the 'explore' button, then its just drag and drop from there. It shows the entire directory of the axim including any cf/sd cards :) If you copy a file to the 'pocket_pc my documents' folder(location in your 'my documents' folder in win2k), it will sync with your 'my documents' folder on your axim automatically.

In order to get that "pocket_pc my documents" folder you need to first check the "files" box under the otions in activesync. NOTE that folder will be named whatever your device name is (for example 'pocket_pc' is the default name).

:D Thanks pscbimmer, that is exactly what I needed to know. I have been copying the files I needed to the AX manually which works but this is much better.
