Anyone else ordered a Sena Axim Case? Supposedly they were gonna send them on February 27th. Its March 10th and i still have no information about my order, neither tracking numbers nor anything. I have emailed Sena about this 3 times and i get no reply from them. Im thinking about starting legal actions. Anyone else in this mess?
I dont think legal actions are neccesary,
remember they said all pre-orders would be
out by March 8th, with 3 bussiness days
shipping, Dont get too mad till late next
week, Also I sent them an email and got a
reply back the same day with my shipping #
make sure you email them from the email
address you ordered your case with... or
state a order #... so they know what to look up.
I ordered mine Feb 10th, and not getting
it till march 10th or 11th....

Ordered mine 1 Feb. and received it last week. Takes a while, but don't despair, you'll get it and when you do you'll be glad you waited, it's awesome. My only complaint is that it is not available in a light brown color, like that color inside the black case. You'll see what i mean when you get yours...

Why do people make statements like this. Legal actions? What kind of legal action are you gonna take that will cost less than the $35 you spent on the case? Come on. Really.
What is your claim? They haven't breached your contract. They stated that Mar. 8 would be their target ship date -- 2 days is very reasonable. A court of law would probably find that 2 months would be reasonable -- perhaps even much longer.
First of all, legal actions doesnt mean going to court.
Second, the stated shipping date was first Feb. 25th. and it was repeateadly delayed.
Anyway, the case arrived today. I think i went a little too made about this. But in no way it justify the fact that i sent them 3 emails in a 2 week time span and never got a reply from them. I made sure to include the sale receipt, customer number and wrote su sales@senacases.com .What kind of support is that? As emailing them didnt have any effect, i tried to find in their website a phone number i could call and didnt find any. That was that really pissed me off.
Anyway the case arrived to my friends house and he is sending it to me tonight. I hope i wont be needing of sena any more.
Mine showed up today. Sent USPS Priority Mail. In a very nice box and felt bag. Extremely nice case! You can't go wrong here. As a matter of fact, I am ordering one for my daughter's Ax!
Checking the Aximsite forums reminded me that I hadn't received my preordered case yet (I haven't been nearly as rabid about the time delay as some of you!). I decided to chech the mail.
Surprise, a USPS box from Sena contained my new Blue/Black case. Here's my Sena Case review:
It has a great fit.
The Blue color isn't nearly as bright as in the pics on their website - much more tasteful and business 'like.
Good workmanship and leather quality for the $30-40 price point. It's not 'amazing' leather and stitching but above average and very decent looking. If I had paid $90 for a custom Vaja case I might expect a little more in the quality department but for the price, it's fine.
All of the cutouts for the various Axim features match up pretty close.
The snap closure is fine but I would rather have the magnetic closure myself. I haven't had any problems with them in the past (credit cards, etc) and they have a more 'luxury' feel.
I ordered mine with the belt clip and worried that it would be too 'geeky' for me (but seemed like a handy option). I've stood in front of the mirror with it on and it's hardly noticible. I think it looks pretty good although my kids will probably tell me otherwise.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I sent the Dell zipper case back for a refund (sticky zipper, too bulky for me, no pen loop). The Sena case is smaller, 'cooler' looking, and was the same price.
I got my case yesterday, and while I like the look very much, have some issues with the "cut-outs"...My mic opening is not in line with the mic (in fact it is covered), the power button in half covered, the reset button is completely covered, and the right side of the case, when open, "hovers" over the right edge of the screen...making it fairly difficult to use the stylus on the right side of the screen. Has anyone else noticed any of these issues and if so, do you think that these will be gone once the Axim becomes "settled" in the case after awhile?
I contacted Sena and was told... " to send the case back so it could be examined. Each case is hand crafted so it has to be looked over before a decision can be made. Some of the issues are design issues so they could be rectified with a better fit." That's great but hate to have to send it back now that I have it...it is a really nice looking case.
hmmmmm disappointing to hear that some are having problems with sena.............i think i will be purchasing a vaja case, twice as much money but they're delivering immediately, and i hear the leather quality is much better
