The Infamous Keyboard

Okay, excitedly I opened my external keyboard (you know the one that held this baby up for so long?) and I was surprised to see how little it is. I had thought it was a full-sized laptop keyboard like the Targus ones are, but this is definitely much much smaller than that is.

I have small hands, so I think I will be able to adapt to it when I get a chance to play with it, but I'm not sure anybody with a larger hand will be able to really type on it with any speed.

I'm not complaining, I'm just very surprised at its size. Anybody else get one and feel the same way?

Donna (andd others)--I understand that this keyboard is the same as the Compaq-branded keyboard, and is more compact than many......anyone who wants to try it hands-on before buying can see it at Office Depot, among other places.............Ben

I just got my keyboard and Axim in as well.. I can say I am not happy with the keyboard at all... I don't have big hands but this thing is microscopic. I bought the PDA to take notes with in class. But after a few hours of trying to use the keyboard I spent more time correcting mistyped letters then it would if I just wrote the same message out by hand. I can only hope that I get used to the keyboard. Otherwise I just blew 100$ for nothing.

Actually, the more I use it the better I like it. It's not that much smaller than my laptop keyboard, but if you're coming from a full sized keyboard, the difference is extremely apparent.
