Symbolic Links

I'm using an X5 basic with WM2003. Does anyone know if it's possible to create a true symbolic file link, like on a Unix system? I've got a couple of 256M SD cards, and I'd like to use one of them for just Mapopolis maps. I was thinking I could create a folder full of shortcuts on each SD card for the programs on that card, then just put a symbolic link to this folder in the actual start menu in the Windows folder. That way my programs listing would automatically change depending on which SD card I had installed at the time.

Ideally, when I open up the program listing I don't want to see any links to programs that I can't run because they're not on the card I'm currently using.
