Dell Screen Protectors

I have been using Fellows Brand Screen protectors for my Axim. I do not care much for them as no matter how carefully I put them on; there is still always some small air bubbles underneath, which drive me insane. I have tried several brands and they all are not that great.

So has anyone tried the Dell brand? It looks like they just snap into the screen. Do these work fairly well, and are they worth the price?

I was wondering how hard it would be to make your own out of like transparency film. Would be a whole lot cheaper?

Thoughts on this anyone?

Tim

Dell's protectors leave nasty air bubbles under the protector and minimize visibility. I recently purchased WriteShield custom protectors for the Axim and you can hardly tell it is there. There have been many threads on the board and all have basically lead to the WriteShield protector!

I use the Dell screen protectors and they work great. They don't actually attach to the screen. They have little tabs on the top and bottom that slide under the cover to hold it in place. They are easy to apply since there is no adhesive and the only complaint I have is that they can form these little hexagon shapes when you press to hard on the screen and it cause the protectors to stick. This is quickly and easily remedied by lifting it slightly with a fingernail. I love them and will continue to use them.

I'm another person who loves the dell protectors. You have to find the thread in this forum to figure out how to apply them, but it's really easy once you figure it out. There may be better out there, but I have *zero* complaints with what i'm using now.
