Unexplained SD card storage problem....
I cannot figure this out.....maybe someone can. I bought a 128 MB Sandisk SD card. I copied about 60 megs of wma files to it and thus had about 60 megs free. I downloaded Age of Empires (from another site) to the card and it would not play. Tried to download a 2nd time, still didn't work (although I followed the directions). All I got was a white screen. So, I uninstalled it. When I checked the amount of free memory on the card, it said that I only had about 25 or 30 megs free. It should be back to the 60 MB, right? So, I reinstalled A of E from the Ziosoft website this time and the program runs fine. However, when I check the SD card memory, it says I only have about 13 meg free now. How can 60 megs of wma files and a 8 MB game consume over 100 megs of card space. When I check the SD card in File Explorer, it only shows the game and the music files. It does not show what is taking up all the extra storage. Where did the memory go? Will I need to delete everything from the card and start over? Thanks for any help.
