Integrating Notes with Calendar in Outlook

I'm new to using Outlook, and would like to know if there is a way to integrate the Notes feature with the Calendar. What I would like to do is to jot down some notes for each day, almost like a mini-diary entry, but I want this stored with the actual day, and not on a separate file.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Gigi

Calendar entries can have notes attached to them (independent notes...not "Notes" as in the program Notes).

You can create these notes in Outlook or onboard the Ax in Calendar. They can be part of a specific Appointment, or as part of an All-day Event On the Ax, tapping the Appointment/Event will bring up these notes along with the basic event data.

Thanks Chrissss for your reply. I already know about attaching a note to a specific appointment or event, but what about on its own? For example, I would like to record stuff like "my Axim arrived today" or "I called so and so today".

Thanks,

Gigi

No, the note must be attached to something.

You could try this. Set up a daily repeating event titled "Daily Journal" or something to that effect. It is an "untimed" event so It doesn't tie up any appointment time. Every day would automatically have this event listed. Then just add notes to that.

?????

Thanks Chrissss,

I tried your suggestion and it worked just as you said. However, the problem with creating a daily "journal" with notes is that one must open up the notes just to see if there is something listed there. It cannot be accessed just be opening up that day. That would mean that in order to check, for example, when I received my Ax, I'd have to go through every day and open up the journal. That would be quite a pain! Uggh...;)

Anyway, I will keep the "journal" as a daily occurrence for now, since it is the only thing I have so far.

Thanks again,

Gigi
