PocketPC 2003?

When will it be released... I can't find anything on microsoft.com or windowsbeta.net while Brighthand.com mentions that the net toshiba will be shipped with ppc2002 while the 2003 wil be out in a few weeks..

:crooked:

Assume it's coming with Pocket PC 2002, since Microsoft has said nothing about 2003 officially.....and note that the Brighthand article says the e750 will ship in a few weeks, but the new OS is expected in a few months.

Question, when MS does come out with the 2003 edition, are we going to be able to upgrade? Or are we stuck until we buy hardware?

Thanks

I think that will be entirely up to Dell as to whether or not they want to support it..

You can do the update yourself... the same as the upgrade with the Ipaq's to 2002..

Most likely, Dell WILL post the upgrade. Afterall, Dell wouldn't want to disappoint its consummers.

One would hope that there is the reason the Advanced Axim has so much ROM. However, as stated before, it is entirely up to each vendor to decide whether to support the new OS on old hardware. MS will put it out there, and Dell has to say yea or nay.
