Anybody know if the current two Axim models can handle the new 1Gb SD card from Matsushita (Panasonic) which uses the new 20Mbps I/O bus architecture (to be marketed later this year) or will Dell have to redesign the Axim to handle the faster SD I/O bus?

Here lies the dilemna.. The Axim is NOT an SD I/O compatable device, yet should be able to run any size SD memory card. Thus, the way you explained the Panasonic SD card (SDI/O), the answer is no. Ofcourse, as the Axim becomes tested with more and more venders, new compatibility lists will be released and it could be just a firmware upgrade away...
