X5 won't sync with new computer

Have new PC that I am migrating everything to. Sync on the old pc works great. My new PC installed activesync just great from MS site. But the X5 won't sync and when I put it in the cradle I do not get the PC to start the dialog to make a new partnership. On my X5 under Tools, under Options, the PC tab says the name of the old computer where it says "Use this PC:" at the top of the screen. Anyone know how to change the name in that box? Seems like establishing a relationship ought to do it but then again I can't get the PC to initiate a "new" discussion. I do not want to partner with both PCs, just the new one. Thanks to all who suffer with me.

Did you also make sure you installed the Dell USB drivers? (They should be on the CD or on Dell's website.) If you need more info, do a search for it here; there are lots of threads about it. (I am on mobile so my searching abilities are limited.)

Thanks, it worked

I used the CD that came with the X5 and it worked!! Way Cool! Again, I was misled by Microsoft that told me it had loaded the USB driver for the Axim X5 when in fact, it didn't work. Very much appreciated. I shall return the favor by answering another user's question where I can help. Again, thanks.
