I just went from a palm to the new Dell Axim. On Palm devices you can set yourself up in contacts, label yourself as your business card, and easily beam the info to other PDA users. What I like about this feature on the Palm is that to beam your card all you do is press and hold down the contacts button.

Does the PocketPC OS offer this feature? If it does, I haven't been able to find it.

Its there, sort of. I also was a Palm OS user and the business card beam is nice. Here is what you have to do now.
1. Make a new contact (or your old one) of yourself with the information you want on it.
2. When you want to beam it you have to open up contacts then open your "business " contact, tap tools and select "beam Contact".
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice, but I was trying to find a more streamlined approach.

I agree with AR15,

I'm a Palm user until my Axim arrives, and all I have to do is hold down my contacts button (even if my PDA isn't on) and it will turn on, and beam my contact to somebody else. Surely there's something this clever and quick for the PPC?

Palms and PocketPC have different benefits and drawbacks, if you want you can probably write a program that will launch a string of commands to a button that will do what you want, untli then hit up google to try and find something in the mean time.

Any new developments on this topic? I'm heading off to a conference - no business cards left!
