activesync selectivly syncing outlook

OK, I am running out of ideas. I have just read through about 200 posts on various outlook and activesync problems.

My situation is this.
I have XP pro with Outlook 2003 running fine on my computer. When I try to sync with my X5, it syncs only with Tasks,Inbox and Avantgo. It will not sync Calendar, Contacts or Favorites. I have uninstalled Activesync, reinstalled it, deleted and created new partnerships and still the same results.

Now the really odd part. I also have Windows 2000 pro with Outlook 2003 installed on another hard drive. I am in the process of copy this stuff to the new hard drive with XP. to use this operating system, I actually remove the new drive and boot off the old one. Activesync works fine with this old setup, everything syncs.

About 1.5 yrs ago, I am positive I went through the same situation, but who knows what I did to fix it then. I am sure that I found a post about on Aximsite then, but I can't find anyone with the same problem.

For the most part, You can ignore the windows 2000 part, this just helps show that everything works fine as far as all the parts are concerned.

I need to make it sync in XP, and I am begging for help now, so please, please, please, for all that is good and pure, Can somebody help me?

it works finally

I decided to try some steps again, for about the 5th time, now it is working. The fix was deleting and creating yet another newly named partnership.
thanks.

Hi,

Something simple, be sure to check the following:

Open activesynch
Open options button
make sure what you want to synch is checked
OK
resynch.
