X5 as a remote control for entertainment system...TV, Stereo...etc
Has anyone tried to use their X5 as a remote control for their TV, DVD Player. Will the IR output be hot enough to go 15 feet? Anybody seen software that will do this?

I was just thinking......

There are software packages and CF cards that'll do just that. Not tried any of them myself but here's an example google threw up:
