play music files over wifi network

I have a X5 that I recently connected to my wireless home network with a CF wifi card and everything works beautifully. I have many MP3 files on my desktop that I would like to listen to on my X5 over the network. I can see the files through file explorer, but cannot play them unless I transfer them to my handheld. Is it possible to listen to these files without copying them to my X5?

You could stream them using Windows Media Encoder or open them over the network with Resco File Explorer. :)

BizzDev's netuse will allow you to map your network shares so they will show up in the file dialogs of all your PPC applications, including whatever player you're using.
