Foldable Keyboard and typing errors....

Wassup yall,

When you type of on the foldable keyboard for the Axim, do yall sometimes get double-clicks or like double letters when you type?

I use my foldable keyboard to take notes in class and its annoying because I will like type a letter but the letter will sometimes appear twice.....is there a solution for this?

I wish they would come out with a Stoway away keyboard for Axim, because that keyboard had less problems?

Well, it certainly could be a keyboard error -- there's circuitry that is supposed to debounce the keys, and it might be defective. I've seen a slightly different problem, where a key gets "stuck" repeating. I set the repeat rate at minimum and the delay at maximum and haven't had that problem since (although it's a little frustrating not to be able to backspace or arrow rapidly).

The keyobard is fine, and is sold for several companies, however it unfortunately uses a God-Awfuyl driver. The way this driver is set up, is such that wheneve there is a process running in the background while typing, MP3 player, or maybe spell checker in a word processor, or something like that, then it either:

1) prints multuple letters at once

-or-

2) lags when printing the characters on the screen.

It is quite ridiculous actually, but since it is a driver issue, hopefully they will simply release a new one. I use it in clas tohugh, but don't have this problem with Pocket Word, I only run into it while using MP3 players, Text Maker (live things like spell check etc.) etc.

but it isn't a hardware issue, so more than likely sending in for a replacement will do nothing.
