Help Me I'm Dumb!!!!

I don't understand what is going on with my active sync! Right now it says 'No partnerships', ok? So I plug my Dell into the cradle and I here a little noise that comes from my PC. then it just sits there. and sits a little more. Then it still does nothing. It doesn't connect, or Sync or anything. I have no partnership right now. I have had one before but had to delete it. But now I don't even have the chance to start a new one because it doesn't even realize that my dell is connected. I have no idea what to do.......

try to reinstall activesync, preferably get the latest version 3.6 from microsoft.

Had the same problem myself. This morning. I rebooted my pc and soft reset the AX. Then everything was OK again. BTW do you have a password set on you AX. The reason I ask is that until yesterday I didn't. But I set one up, and today I had a connection problem. I'm wondering if there is a connection. With a password set up the pc asks for the PDA password before it makes the connection. When I had the problem this morning it never asked for the password - this may have been because it couldn't find the AX but I don't know

Hey, Kludd. Sorry, I've had the problem before, but I forgot what I did. I know for sure that I didn't have to do a soft reset. I solved it playing with the USB port somehow. I do have ActiveSync 3.6 installed and I installed that USB Patch from Dell. But I also have a USB hub that I connect to. I don't know if that will solve your problem but just make sure that you don't have the axim synced while you try and install patches or something.

Who knows. It may be as simple as taking your Axim out of the cradle, play with the USB port like change it to another port or, if you have one, put it on a USB HUB (my hub is that Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro shown below) and maybe that will solve it.
Just my resolution.

I fixed it Finally. Here's what happened. I have that pocket nester program on my Dell, and I would save my game a lot. I had like 5 saves for 5 different games. Whenever I did a Backup those saves would be in the backup with it. So everytime I did a hard reset and restore, those saves would be back on there and the problem would persist. Then I finally deleted them, and everything started to work again. I don't know why, but those saves are the problem. But I fixed everything and that's that.
