300mhz vs. 400 mhz?

Is the 400 mhz with more memory noticably faster or bettter than the 300mhz. or are you better off buying the cheaper 300 mhz and buying a large CF card?

Hi, Jason. You didn't have to post twice. One of us would answer eventually. Besides, Someone answered this not to long ago.

To me there is a difference, but to a lot of people there really isn't. I have the Axim Advance (400MHZ) and love it.

I have yet to try the 300Mhz model... the price diff for the faster CPU and more memory was a no brainer for us.

i have a 300mhz basic axim and my bro has a advanced axim..... i can easily overclock mine to 400 mhz and even 500 mhz, so mine is just as fast as my bros. only thing is i am worried about is whether i will be able to run the new version of pocket pc that will come out later.

I wouldn't worry too much about the new OS just yet. Dell will have to put it out for us Aximians anyway. It should work just fun for all of us.

At this point in time I don't think 300 vs. 400 means much but the extra RAM and ROM do! I think that alone justifies the extra cost (not to mention that you get the cradle and not just the cable). I have the 400 and love it!
