Has anyone had Axim replaced by dell and was it refurbed!!!

My direction pad is sticking and I was wondering if anyone else has had their Axy replaced by Dell and was it a refurb or a brand new unit. Please say brand new.

I had one of mine replaced for the D-pad.

I dunno if it was refub. Are they supposed to have a sticker on it ?

Refurbished ones sometimes do, but it will always say on your packing slip or receipt.

Do you know whether or not it has the new intel processor. Go to file explorer-then My device-My documents-Sysinfo is it PXA250 B2 or PXA255 C1

If it's refurbished, most likely it's PXA250 B2.

The newer ones I'd expect the PXA250 C1. I'm even expecting PXA255s on the wireless models.

I ordered mine Feb 10th and got the 17th. It's PXA250 400 MHz B2 Stepping, so you're telling me they sold me a refurbished model as a new one????

Hawkdriver, they are talking about replacements for defective ones not new ones, and the new C1 chips didn't start shipping until a week ago or so.

Crazyfish.....I am praying for the Iraqi's as well as the other soldiers involved. I have many friends who are over there fighting. I am sure that many Iraq's would love to have a way of life different than the one they have lived under since 1979.
