I've used this app for a couple years. I bought it back when it wasn't free ($20).

It works very well. :approve:

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I won't have to go to my cable box and figure out what time's what. The only thing I noticed is that the channels are not in order in the guide. I read on their site and one post in the forums had the same issue. Have you seen this? Also, I loaded the program to BIS and the update didn't work. I then installed to the SD card and it worked fine. I just can't tell where the data sits (SD vs. RAM). Do you know?

Yeah, its a weird bug, I was able to fix it though by going into listing>setup>channels>sort> go through all the tabs>enter a number for the pin (it will fail) then hit ok it should be in numeric order ;)

You can resort the channels in the program itself. Under the options... My big issue is that occasionally I get a few channels I did not choose.

The file where the data resides is in Listing.dat and it is in the folder "Thumbs UP! Pocket TV Listings"

Every 3 months you need to fill out a questionnaire from the Zap2it data source. No spam or anything

Thanks for the info. It doesn't seem like the listing takes up much memory. I sync about 30 channels for a three-day period and the listings.dat file is only 300k. Does this seem right? Also, when the program updates, does it clear the old file and install the new? Or does it just keep adding on?

BTW, this is a really cool program.

That sounds about right. I download 90 channels and 10 days worth... runs about 3 meg. I put the app and the files on my SD card. The listings file gets over-written.

Currently I have it set to show all available channels on my cable system--nearly 200. The sorting option works fine, but apparetnly every time the data reloads you have to resort. quite annoying.

Also I've noticed that I have to manually start WebLink on the desktop even thought it's set to "enable autodownload". I can put it in my start-up menu, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

No, I've been on their forums and many people have problems with the apps auto-run not working. I can get it to work if the app loads into the tray...but I can't get it to do that part properly even though it's set to start up... I eventually gave up and just manually fire it off when I remember to do so.
