I was going to buy an Axim last night...

I was going to buy an Axim last night but it looks like I missed the coupon boat. The reason I didn't jump on it was because I just starting doing some research on these and didn't want to leap too fast.

I currently am a Sony Clie user and was in a meeting with a guy that has an older IPAQ. He mentioned that the Axim is a great deal. So here I am.

Anyone know how often these coupons pop up? Will letting go of my trusty Clie be easy? As an XP, Outlook, and XP Office user, I don't anticipate any great difficulties. I just hope I can find my favorite Palm OS applications for the Pocket PC.

I'll be waiting for the next coupon.

Oh Ill be ordering an Axim tommorow..

I know the 10 percent and 50 MIR goes till tommorow then its just the 50 MIR till 3/28..


What number do I call and how do I get to the extensions.. Id love to take advantage of free shipping if possible.. Id love ya tons :P


Also.. Is it just coincidence that the deal ends on 3/27 and intel says new chips all out on 3/28? :P

Quick rebate question. If I order the Axim today, the prliminary ship date is 4/1/03. Since the rebate expires on 3/31, am I still eligible for the rebate? Or does the unit need to SHIP before 3/31?

You will be covered. It goes by the purchase date, not the ship date. Anyways, it will ship this week. I had a friend order on Monday and he had it in his hands yesterday by noon.....Chris

Marky - I bought my Ax when Dell had the rebate thing going back in January. They give you 30 days from the ship date to get the rebate submitted. So you should be ok.
