300mhz or 400mhz?

Hello, I am new to Pocket PC, and have decided to get one. I'm not sure what they are capable of, but I would like to be able to do the following:
a.browse whole sites offline (news, etc...)
b.write word documents
c.read PDF's
d.possibly write HTML (can I?)

So my questions are:
a.what are the main differences between the 300mhz and 400mhz Axim's (besides price?)

b.does the 300mhz have longer battery life (how long approx. does the battery last on either model?)

I can't answer all your Qs, but I can get you started.
a. Yes you can, but the Ax is limited by it's QVA (Quarter VGA) screen. There are some sites optimized to PPCs.

b. Yes you can, but Pocket Word does not support advanced formatting (tables, pictures, etc). Think of it as an "rtf" file in .DOC format. There are some third-party products that do more. There's also the question of how you will enter your text -- thumb keyboard, IR keyboard, character recognizer, soft keyboard ... no option is perfect.

c. Yes, the PDF viewer is free. I don't have a lot of experience using it, but again remember your screen is smaller than a laptop.

d. ???

The main difference between the two Axims is the amount of memory. You can store programs in add-on memory cards, but all programs have to be in RAM to run. The more RAM

The more RAM the better. Extra Flash is also good, for future OS upgrades, and even to store a program or two.

The Ax is a great PPC because of it's beautiful screen, and because it has both SD memory slot and CF slot for expansion. Not to mention, the price point is awesome.

What I meant by writing HTML is that are there any HTML editors ala Homesite for Pocket PC?
