Compact Flash Modem Hawking

A compact flash modem hawking H-CF690V I have installed at my X5 and worked for 2 days. After this, was necessary to replace backup battery, then I really don’t know what happened, when I am trying to connect to phone line, the X5 show me a message “dialing …” but the X5 freeze. Then is necessary to remove the modem and take a reset (left side button) to keep work again.

Anybody could give me a hint?

I solved this problem or something likes this…
I asked to Dell support and they had suspicion about X5 port was damaged, and they recommend inserting other king of CF (memory card, net card, etc) just to assure if this port is ok.
Then I inserted a memory card and was working properly.
After this I returned to install a CF modem…and…worked properly…nice!
Although the X5 freezes some time and I needed to take soft reset… it’s working!
