Yes...

Using the program NiceStart, you can reset, lock or turn off your Axim, with a tap of the stylus. I lock my Axim every single time I turn it off, as I have sensitive data in it.

@password just set: "Prompt if device unused for 0 minutes"

Now when you turn off or reset your device it will automatically prompt for a password.

I tried going to the password window and after inputting the password to allow you to change I tapped in the new password whilst holding down the jog button. when i go back to the dell today page just try tapping the dell logo twice to turn off and lock.

I want it to insted of going of in 5 minutes, 10 minutes, when it turns off ect. to turn off when i want it to. So the password never comes on untill i tell it to. On my old Handspring Platinum I could make a long drag with the stylus and it would lock and turn off without having to wait 5 minutes and without having the password coming on when you turned it off.

Well, why cant you then just set the time to 0? Now de system will only be locked if powerbutton is pressed.....

and this worked? i've tried it everywhich way i can and haven't had any luck with it! this would be handy even though i'm not too keen on keeping the dell background as my today screen.

No, it didn't work when I tried it either!
So to maintain the security for periods of less than 1 (or zero) minutes I simply superglued the Ax to my left hand - I tell people it's a wrist watch.

Anyway must go, I'm being missed at the knitting circle website!!!

Honestly, get a grip boys (and girls:love: ) !!!
