Hello everyone :) I've seen similar posts in this forum but not understood the solutions though... anyway, I listen to MP3's while going somewhere, keeping the X5 in my jacket... however, it's really hard not to accidentally touch the screen every once in a while (esp. since I don't have a cover).
I've seen posts mentioning Screen Toogle (Start -> Settings -> System -> Screen...?) but all I can find there is the Align Screen button..? Also, other mention to use WMP and somehow lock the screen from there but I don't understand how...? Lastly, there are suggestion about mapping one of these functions to one of the external buttons but again I'm at a loss of how to do it...? any help appreciated... :)
If button pushing is an issue too try ScreenLock, it's small and free.

Hello everyone.. thanks for your replies.. :approve: yesterday I fell asleep after having posted my question and just got home now... will try the wmp thing and also check out the links :)
What if you are watching a Movie in WMP in landscape mode and you want to lock it to stop it reverting back to the small portrait mode if you accidently toch the screen. Ive loaded all the kids movies into a CF card so they can watch them anywhere we are, but they keep touching the screen and then complain that its to small in portrait mode.
Hi Mallan (sorry for not replying sooner.. didn't log on to the site after having fixed the problems I had initially...) I've no clue whether or not the lock works appropriately with WMP as I hardly never use it to watch movies... hope you've settled your problem by now though..? :)
However, for some (freaky) reason, my ScreenLock ceased to work :( I reinstalled it by copying the 2003 cab file to the Axim and clicking it once the copy was finished, but afterwards it just worked the first time I locked the screen... subsequent attempts resulted in the screen being protected from accidental touches on the screen itself but not from the physical buttons being pressed... has anyone similar experiences or possibly have a solution or maybe alternative solutions...? :)
