Well, I received mt replacement Axy from dell to correct the disfunctional direction pad and not only was it brand new but it was also the new 255 C1 chip! WhooHooo!!!!! Gotta love those guys at Dell! Now if they could just get a Customer Service system that actually works. I spent for nights after work on the phone trying to find someone who could help me set up my True Mobile card and not a single person could. What a joke, I sent it back!!!
I am at work right now so I cannot download anything but I will do it when I get home tonight. Then will you explain to me what the results of the benchmark mean?:D
basically higher numbers are better. we're trying to figure out how much better the 255 is than other processor revisions, and need somone like you to give us the final data point. once you give us those numbers, all will be revealed!
One thing to note about that BMQ benchmark, is that you need to set your CPU to "normal" instead of "auto". This will get it at the full 400MHz. If you don't want to do this for whatever reason, you will need to run BMQ benchmark, and then immediately start the benchmark again as soon as it finishes. This will also make sure the whole bench was done while at 400MHz. Otherwise, it could make for some REALLY bad scores.
