VERY agonizingly slow transfers on the x5 (mp3s, specifically)

Guys, I have VERY agonizingly slow transfers on the x5 (mp3s, specifically) when I transfer to my sd card. I have tried different ones and it takes almost a minute per song.

Two questions - any ideas on how to speed this up (trying not to suggest getting a faster card...)

Secondly, is there a firewire cable for the axim x5?

Question 1. Use a card reader to transfer files to your SD card. It will save you hours.

Question 2. Not as far as I know.

This is normal using ASync to transfer files.

Get a Card Reader for your PC and directly transfer to the Card.
