I have been trying to get Outlook to sync multiple catagories in contacts for over a month. Checking on the Microsoft web site, almost everybody was having the same problem. Finally I found the solution. There is an add-on patch from Microsoft that solved it.

It's old but if it worked for you, I'm going to try it whe I get home on my wife's PDA. She's having a similar problem. My Axim seems to be all right.
