What speed do you run your axim at?

I'm confused about Auto mode - it seems if I have it set to that mode my Axim 400 only ever runs at 200Mhz, even when it's in the cradle.
I thought the whole idea was that it would run at 400Mhz when connected to a power source and *then* clock down when it was on battery power - can anyone explain why it seems to always run at 200? Have I misunderstood what Auto is meant to do?

No the speed onlychange according to what you do......

If you are typing a word document it will clock down to 200mhz..

If you play some games....it clocks back up to 400mhz

Ah, OK, now I get it... I guess at the times when check the CPU speed it'not doing anything too heavy so it's sitting at 200Mhz... didn't realise the CPU was so intelligent... makes a lot more sense now!

I have my 400 set to Auto. I tried it at Normal but didn't notice any significant change.

400mhz right now .. from 300mhz.

One question though.. I dunno if its my A00 rom or whatever, but before i dled turbotray.. when it was in Normal.. it was at 300mhz. Thats fine. Powersave was 200mhz or whatever. But in Auto it was weird.

Whenever it was set to auto it said it was at 400mhz. I dunno if this was an error.. but since the first day I started it it said that. Could I have a weird Axim?
