400mhz running at 200mhz

OK, i have the 400mhz axim, now when i turnt he processor to "Power Save" or "Auto" it always lowers my processor to 200mhz, even when i have a full battery. Now it will run at 400mhz if i set it to normal. But why won't it run at 400mhz on the other settings?

It is optimizing the processor speed for what you are doing....thus saving battery power. Do some processor intensive stuff and then check it and I'll bet it says it is running at 400 Mhz.
