Which operating system do you have on the X5 (WM03 or PPC02) and did you download the correct drivers for that OS? You probably need to remove the drivers you originally installed before installing the new one (go to Start, Settings, System (tab), Remove Programs). If you haven't installed anything since, it should be at or near the top. If there are two programs referring to the Symbol card, remove both. Also, remove the card if it is in the slot. Then soft reset, connect to the PC via the cradle, and run the file you downloaded. Then insert the card.
