Axim prices in Canada???

What the heck is up with that? As it stands, I ordered my Axim a few weeks ago with the 10% discount and $50 rebate and paid roughly $220 Canadian. If I had placed an order for the exact same piece of equipment throuh Dell.ca I would have paid $480 after taxes and shipping! That's NUTS! I have a degree in Economics and even I can't justify that type of selective pricing. Ignoring my rebate and taking the difference in base price, I can't imagine that the marginal cost of importing each unit to Canada is $100.

heh, almost sounds like economies of scales.

dell usa can afford to sell for much cheaper, where expectations up here is that they'll only sell less than 1/10th.

Are you sure about the price? How much US was it when you bought it. It must have been about $130US to be $220 cdn. I got mine for $650 extra sync, and 2 year advanced warranty and shipping. That was for the 400mhz. Is yours the 300?
