I really don't want to try it first. I DO NOT want to try it first. One of you try it first. It *does* require a hard reset. Oh man I don't want to try it first. I don't know if I can help myself though.

I just installed it, before it said I had a PXA 250 400 mhz c1 stepping, now it says PXA 255 400mhz a0 stepping, I guess that answers past arguments...
Accroding to pocketpcthoughts.com the update includes:
* Improved backup battery status monitoring
* Changed time-out values for power light (notifications) to improve battery life
* Improved start-up time
* Improved navigation button applet
* Improved CompactFlash modem interface driver
* Support for C1 stepping of Intel XScale CPU
I dont have any benchmarking software nor anytime to find any before class tonight so someone else will have to play with that to see if theres any performance increase.

* Improved navigation button applet

Does this mean I don't need the older Dell nav button patch?

I'd hope it wouldn't restore the patch because it will probably screw up the axim.
