Synchronising Problems

I had problems with my hard drive and had to reload XP, I downloaded ActiveSync 3.7.1 from the website and loaded onto my computer. Once I attached my Axim 5 to synchronise it identidied about 110 items that needed to be updated however it is now synchronising with 3mins 43 secs to go but stays on this forever. I have undertaken the whole process twice now with the same result.

Any ideas?

Problem resolved, conflict between Outlook & Outlook Express.
