It was hard finding crap that was the right size and thickness so that when you close it, it wouldn't be pressing down on it all the time...

But I think I figured it out. I'm currently restoring my device right now. I'll see if it's more responsive in about...25minutes from now. Stay tuned!

argh! damnit! the left directional doesn't respond! argh...and I restored everything...

ah whatever! i'm going to leave it alone. The up/down/right buttons respond much better, but it's a good tradeoff. For the left button, I just have to press a little harder.

It's say it's worth modifying, because the improved response of the other buttons are much better now.
