Best wireless CF card for Axim X5 PPC2002?

Hi all--

I have an Axim X5 400, running PPC 2002. I would like to add a wireless CF card. I was told in a forum that PPC 2002 does have support for wireless, but that not all cards work. I was wondering what cards you have had luck with for X5 and Pocket PC 2002.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Any that work for under $50?

I looked up the Symbol card and it looks like it runs over $100. Any one know of a good wireless cf card for Dell X5 PPC 2002 for under $50?

Thanks
KH

Symbol rocks! ca_electronics sells them in dutch auctions on Ebay for less than $30 bucks (brand new).
The software on the included CD works OK but I would recommend downloading the latest version from Symbols web site which works better and has many more features. If you go with the latest version DO NOT install the included software as it will cause conflicts even after doing an uninstall.

I use an ambicon wireless card in my ppc2002 x5 and it works great. Its range is very good and battery usage is good too meaning it wont drain your battery quickly and its wifi utility is very good also. It gives you signal strength connection quality and list of all availiable aps and they are less than $50.00

Hi,

I have the same unit and i'm also looking for a wirless cf card. I have a thread out currently requesting info on two cards i'm considering. Check out my thread from today (5/11). Both are priced at $35. I can forward the information once I decide on which one to get. Right now, as i understand it, Symbol rates among the top two or three for our units.
