Axim X5 Basic:
32MB RAM and 32MB ROM
Axim X5 Advance:
64MB RAM and 48MB ROM
I think that's how it is.
There is a page for comparing the Axim models on this website too.

The 32MB/64MB RAM gets split into program/storage memory
The 32MB/48MB ROM gets split from the installed OS and BIS (Built-In-Storage), which implies when you hard reset the device, and files within the BIS are not erased.

It's probably a typo--meant to be 400MHz. Although technically he could have added a 32MB SD/CF card, the auction doesn't specify. I would ask him a question if you wanted to know for sure.

I hope so.. less people might buy it because they think it's the lesser model.

Stupid Question..
Can I use a CF card to increase the amount of Ram on the Pda?
Just curious as this other site that sells iguidance and it says "64 MB storage card"
Where on the Offical iguidance site it says:
Minimum System Requirements:
PPC: ARM CPU ONLY, minimum 64MB on-board memory
I've asked this question here not long ago but no one knows yet.. So I have to hope this really in fact is a 400Mhz model.

Oh I think I understand now.. inav should be more clear.. they are saying you need a Min of a 64Mb memory card.

The internal 'RAM'/'ROM' stays at the fixed amount. Adding cards add to the storage memory, which is like a certain amount alloted for storage-ONLY purposes.

You are not allowed to post Ebay links in the Classifieds forum to sell your stuff, but there is nothing wrong with asking your Aximsite friends about a particular listing if you're interested in it. :)
