live streaming video on X5?

Is it just me or does the video lag behind the audio?

Maybe it's because I'm using the Sync cable to get internet right now and will go away with the wireless card?

It could just be the fact that the x5 has a slower processor. idk
I only experience lag when trying to view streaming video outside of my home network...

Should overclock :)

Get a program like xpu scalar.

Which revision do you have, look underneath battery cover it should be like a04 or a00

Highest I went was 597MHz using Pocket Hack Master 2004. Doesn't seem to have any noticeable results in anything, LOL!

Great, the reason why is a00 and a01 hardware revisions do not support lcd and ram clocks above 100mhz. But, since you dont, you should be fine. If you wan't to mess with it some more try pocket hack master you should be able to get it up to at least.

CPU speed 598mhz
100mhz RAM
199mhz FSB

You may be able to get the ram up to 118mhz.

Also, be careful when charging it, it gets mighty hot when charging and maxing out the cpu. Better to turn it off and charge it or put it back to regular clock settings.

This most likely won't greatly increase the video streaming performance, I think he is right, it is that connection. Although, don't expect the greatest from a wifi card, the dell is quite slow on storage cards, very low throughput.

I notice a big difference in response and transfer rates, not much in gaming since it is limited by the 100mhz lcd clock.

That is the only thing that pocket hack master is missing, the lcd clock control. And comon you gotta notice the battery life :)

Well maybe you can awnser this since you know what you are talking about.

The Usb Snyc cable is that a USB to Serial Bridge?

Because it's my only way to get on the internet besides the 56K CF card I have and when on Skype my audio is garbled.

I'm not sure what the transfer rate is on the cable.

On pocket device manager there are 3 com ports, they are listed as...

Serial Cable COM1
Unknown Serial Device COM3
USB Cable COM2

I beleive the cables are sort of drivers telling the serial device how to use the connection and when.

I am really stumped about that, it says serial device, but when you think of it, Serial, Univeral Serial Bus.

Then again maybe it isn't a serial device and is the axim that is simply sluggish, just look at the transfer rates on CF and SD cards? The cards are not nearly as fast as they should be.

I forgot, but, there is a today plugin that monitors network connections and ran be used to tell throughput just like windows xp and ctrl+alt+del.
