New PPC user, Million questions

I am new to PPC. I have a million questions which leads me to ask, are there any GOOD books telling a person the how to's not just what a PPC does? I have been pointed to "PPC for DUMMIES" and it sucks! I need a book that says, "This is what you do if this happens" not a book that says "PPC does this." Questions like, is PPC 2002 also known as Windows CE 3.0? How do I set it up to where me and my wife both can sync our e-mail. I have incredimail as my Default e-mail program and she is sticking with Outlook. I don't care if I get hers, but I would like to get mine as well. If anyone knows the answer to this feel free to let me know. Why is it that I can't put .avi files in my Media Player? Is there a program that converts these files? Why is it that when I am done syncing, I close the Activesync program and everytime it says,"Acticesync is not responding or is waiting for an answer from you. Closing now could cause your unsaved data to be lost?" Am I doing something wrong? I am new to the PPC Operating System, but I am not new to the handheld buzz. I had a Visor Prism for a year. I was teaching my wife and my friend, they both are real quick with computers, how to use them. I know that Palm O S is pretty simple, yet I still am pretty good with learning quickly. I have no clue how this site works totally, but I have no problem with someone corresponding with me via e-mail if they can answer any or all of these questions. My e-mail address is horsetank4@netzero.net. I don't know why anyone wuold spend so much on a iPaq when they could get an Axim X5. Long live the Axim. Dell rules! Also, anyone know where I can find a Bi-fold case for the X5? I would like something that the face flips back and that is thin taht will fit in my pocket. The one that comes with it is pretty thick. Cool, but thick. Isn't the Cradle cool when you set your Axim in it. That BLUE DELL logo rocks. Why would anybody want anything more than the AXIM X5 400mhz? Well you have come to the right place for axim questions, its late for me adn im going ot bed but I can try to answer soem questiosn fo ryou once you get into the PPC adn have more specific questions and questiosn abotu apps and things like that.

I haven't tried the tutorials, but maybe they'll help you get started. I'm also new to pocket pc's, but I've just been learning as I go by just messing around with it. Pocket NES is good stuff I've found. :)

PPC 2002 is on top of Windows CE

I'm not sure, but you'll need to switch to Outlook too, to sync.

WMP for PPC does not play .avi's only .wmv (windows media video). You can use Windows Media Encoder on the PC to convert many file formats to .wmv

No, I get it too. I guess we aren't "supposed" to be closing applications. I've never had it cause me any probems.
