Is it possable to sync over a network using usb cradle?

I was wondering is it possible to sync over a network using the usb cradle? I have a desktop computer and a laptop and I was wondering if I could connect my cradle to my desktop and still be able to sync appointments to my laptop. I'm getting tired of connecting and disconnecting the cradle from my laptop.

Wow, that's a really good question. I sync all the time across a network using a WiFi card, so it ought to be possible. The question is whether the software is in place (i.e., whether activsync is smart enough) to do it that way. The hardware is certainly all there.

I may be wrong but ...

I think that the Axim being connected to the USB is connected only connected to the PC it is connected to. The Axim is accessible to the internet when in the cradle/cable via USB by a conduit of ActiveSync.

I cant even ping my PC that I am connected to when connected va USB.
