Program install
How do I install specific files to different memory areas? If I drop one program to SD, how do I put another in say Axim memory without the first file being uninstalled as it is no longer selected in the ActiveSync add/remove list, did I miss something?

Could you be a bit more specific as to what you are trying to do. It sounds like you are trying to install programs to different areas of storage that you have available to you. If that's the case then there is a program out there that will allow you do to just that...install programs to other areas of your Axim instead of the default location but it's just for .CAB files. If you want to install programs to your Ax but to different locations instead of it putting in a default location, you have to hit CANCEL on your PC monitor and it will allow you to select what location you want that program to be installed to. I hope this helped but if not, just let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish. :)

how come when i try to install apps to my SD card using active sync, all it does is copy a cab file to the SD card. when i locate the file adn click on it, it installs it into the default path again (in the main memory).
how can i specify for the app to be installed on the SD card?

Use this Cab Installer, that should do the trick.

X5' and Stevenator', cheers for links, they should help. I intend on putting OS updates (not many I know) to the Ax storage and 3rd party stuff to memory cards. I assume apps will run faster from the Ax memory if so is it really that significant?
