Nav Pad/D Pad Patch

I'm running ME and had the same problems on the setup. Transferred the unzipped Axim X5 folder over, tapped on it and bingo it worked. Guess it has problems with 98 and ME. Glad to have it.

No problem here. I installed it, followed the instructions and now I have a 5 function button. The machine did do a reset but the program stayed nicely in place.

Thanks Rayenne... I went through the steps several times. I moved the unzipped Axim file into the My Documents folder on the X5... used Explore to go find it... tapped on it and it installed this time. Thankfully it worked out. Again, my thanks to all who posted on this topic.

This is a great site and many thanks to the folks that consider it their labor of love to keep it going. It is nice to have an independent Axim site that one can turn to and relate experiences with.

Yes it was, I was using the windows ME OS though, I suppose I should just point the blame at that.

I did the patch, it said it installed fine on my axim, but how do I use test to make sure the 5 button is working?
